Mark Waskom is president and chief executive officer of Renaissance Builders, a general contractor specializing in residential, commercial and metal building design and construction, providing integrated solutions for more than 41 years. Mr. Waskom leads overall operations and develops a partnership with clients, bringing their dreams into reality. Mr. Waskom earned a B.S. in Industrial Technology from Northwestern State University in 1981. He is a past president of the Natchitoches Homebuilders Association and served on the Natchitoches Planning Commission for 9 years.

Mr. Waskom's community service includes being a volunteer firefighter for Fire Districts 4, 5 & 6, as well as being a board member for Fire District 6. He is also the president of the Natchitoches Chapter of Brothers Keepers Motorcycle Club #17, which is a group of professional, volunteer or retired firefighters. B.K.M.C. #17 has been responsible for raising over $20,000 for Shriners Hospital in Shreveport and other worthy causes.
